Very nice! I liked the ending.

One critisism is on the diminishing count, that last card had too much of a stall {IMHO}. Other than that, pretty sweet 8)

Good trick. A little bit sloppy, but good. Patter is also well done.

Yeah I appologize for the sloppyness, I'm concidering redoing it, I was just way to excited when I finaly took the time to learn the whole trick that I didn't practice it enough before I recorded it.

nicely done but try and speed up your flushtrastion count more and also the last count or people might notice the similarities between cards 1&3 and 2&4 if you know what i mean? ;)

Nicely done and good patter. Everything's already been said except that your Elmsley count at the begining needs a little bit of work to keep the cards aligned. When that fourth card suddenly jumps out at an angle it always arouses my suspiscions and I'm sure it would for any spectator as well. Other than that, and the things mentioned above, good work :)

All the best,

Yeah, thats all I've been practicing today, it's getting better, can anyone give me some tips on making it smoother? I'm having troubles with it, or is it just something that comes naturally with practice?

You've got it bud :) !

Persitence is the key; just keep going over the trick again and again.

Personally, I try and get the moves down well enough to put a script/patter to it and then leave the patter for a bit while I just sit and go through the work again and again. Once I'm happy with the moves I put the patter back in and practise that a few times. Then with I'm happy with the overall package I'll show it to somebody and get a response and then go from there :) .

All the best,

PM me.....I do this trick all the time, and have a suggestion for you to bypass this problem altogether!

Love the effect.....keep polishing it, you have a real winner with this one!

I found someone else doing this trick on putfile, and I figured it out, and I don't do any elmsley counts in the way that I do it :?

Nicly done bud ... i saw this trick performed ages ago when i was still a real amature to magic and it knocked the socks of me ... i've never known its name ... i like it alot.

Well performed a little work still needed but pretty well done, there was a nice rendition posted on ebaums world a while back i think.

Well done, but try to pull out the cards in an other way: Take the card with the thumb at the south side, with the middle finger at the north side, take it, turn it 180°, and close it again, like the magician in that Video: http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/cardtrick.html does it sometimes. Thats easier and the effect is better then! (I hope you understand my bad english :D).

Excellent work! This is one of my favorite packet-style effects, and I love watching other magicians to see their handling and touches.

Just a few minor comments:

For the Elmsley - I used to do this count the same way, and while I've practiced it to be precise, there is a better method. I'll pm you with that suggestion.

Your lifts were done well. Time and practice will refine any little discrepancies with those. One thing I noticed, is that sometimes when you turn it back to face down and slide, the second card slides along with it just slightly. This isn't a HUGE thing, but it does arouse a bit of suspicion (for me, anyway).

The ace sequence is handle well, and you have it almost down pat. A few minor fixes and more practice will refine this to perfection. Outstanding effort here.

The reveal of the tens is where you run into a little bit of trouble. Especially with the second one. I would highly advise against using the first card to pivot the second ten over. There was a BIG flash there, and it can potentially ruin the remainder of the effect. Until you are completely comfortable with this kind of move, you should continue to turn the cards with your fingers.

For the fourth ten, I'd suggest one or two different moves. For exposure purposes, I'll put that in the pm as well.

As others have said, the flushtration needs to be a bit faster. Not lightspeed, but more smooth and flowing.

The kings. First - I wouldn't call the king before turning it over. It's just something that seemed off to me. I know why it happened that way, but hold off on your call until you've begun turning the card.

This is just a personal preference, but I like revealing the 3rd and 4th kings one at a time. Also, I prefer to table them individually. This really seals the deal and cements that you have ONLY used 4 cards (which you have, but spectators will suspect you've used more).

Overall, a fantastic job.
