Hi Timk

I disagree with you and it's not a matter of having flexible fingers. There are some things that you just have to watch over and over again to get the hang of, and this may well be the case.

Don't try to rush, just take your time and concentrate while watching the DVD. That means NO DISTRACTIONS!

Many of us have Born To Perform by Oz Pearlman and it's generally agreed that his teaching methods are very good so you're not going to find much better than this. If at the end of the day you still can't get the hang of it then perhaps it's just a case that card magic may just not be for you

Main problem is that I cannot hold the pack apart with just my little finger. My two middle fingers get in the way too. This is due to the fact that on my hand, whatever my little finger does, the finger next to it does too.

This makes it impossible to do a pinky break.

I also find palming cards virtually impossible too. I don't think my hands are big enough.

I am starting to think I wasn't cut out to do magic.
