Because I'm really stupid and careless i've lost two sets of instructions i now need. I wondered if anyone has a copy of the instructions for "The ID" and "THe Sevengali" Deck. If you can help please post here.
Thanks Everyone

Dont mean to be mean... but i dont really think you would need instructions.... if you never had instruction for them maybe a little but im sure you could figure it out with the secret there in front of you!

LOOK at your Svengali Deck one card at a time.

What is unusual about it?

There the secret is in front of you and it should take a moment to set up.

Sam

as SamMonkey first has said, look at the cards and it should be more than easy to work out how this deck works. It's probably one of the easiest that you'll get your hands on.

Sam

I think you're having us on.

There is no way you can forget how a svengali deck works. No way at all.

And the ID, well, I'll give you a clue to the code...

9, red, red

Hope that helps.

I don't know about the svengali....I am still trying to figure mine out, but as far as the ID goes, you didn't lose the directions, they are invisible........at least mine are!

Are you for real?

Postby The Last Deck on the Left » Sep 17th, '05, 18:06

Are you for real with these questions?

Maybe you dropped the decks. I remember doing that when I was really little and had my first Stripper Deck - it took me ages to sort it out, so my dad sometimes helped.

(I must have been about 5 - UK members - remember those Paul Daniels Magic Cards? - It was one of those decks. I also had the Svengali Deck and a Magic Wallet from the same series, with about 12 packet tricks in!).

Anyway, samlupton, for the ID, maybe you really don't know how to put them together. Here is my clue (and mods - please delete if it's too much):

'13'

5 + 8 make 13. So does 10 + 3 . . . .
Surely that must jog your memory?!

If not, maybe your ID is actually really invisible - if so, you will need to go and buy a deck!

I'm with Last Deck - If you have a Svengali deck then surely there is no way that you can't work out the secret?

You just simply have to look at the arrangement of the cards and give a riffle to work it out.

I think that you're kidding us in the hope that you'll get the secret for free!

He definetely is there is no way in the dam world that you cant figure out how a sven works. If it is in the correct order then take the top 5 or 6 cards and look at their faces. WHAT DO YOU SEE? Proobably nothing because you are BSing us, but I definetely see something.

Hey guys, lets be easy on him........

Hey Samlupton:

Do you have the svengali deck from Sweden or Norway? And is your ID actually invisible, or is it semi-transparent? I have the Swedish version of the svengali deck, and it is a bu**er to work.....you must be able to identify colours, numbers, and occasionally both at once!

As far as the ID goes, try the semi-transparent version first, as it is much simpler to understand.....you can actually read the cards by staring intently at them and that will act as an excellent training tool for you to advance to the actual "ID

That reminds me.......has anyone done a reveiw of the British version of the svengali? Rumour has it, that it involves having to riffle cards and speak, all while trying to recongnize colours and numbers.........is this true? I would love to see a reveiw of it!

I picked up my British svengali deck the other day actually and it is definitely one of the most complicated effects that i own! The problem is identifying the numbers and colours at the same time but to be able to perform it correctly you need to be able to smell the colours as well as there is a colour changing routine involved. I just dropped mine and now there is no-way it will ever work again, looks like its back to the good old Swedish version.

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...
