Does anyone else find this?

I don't have many packet tricks yet but I watched the video for "Color Monte" on penguin magic and worked it out. When I performed it (with different cards of course) it got amazing reactions, much more than any tricks I know utilising the whole deck anyway (although I don't know many great card tricks). I suppose where there are unmistakably 3 cards in your hand and you are sure they are X and Y then you get Z out of nowhere it seems impossible. I do love that trick (although I don't really own it :?).

Mahoney - if you like Color Monte - check this one out:

http://www.elmwoodmagic.com/?nd=full&key=551 - Jay Sankey's Compact Compass. There's a demo video here, too. Great effect.

I really like card warp, but how do you 'prepare' for it? i normally keep one card prepared, but does anyone prepare it on the spot?

I have the cards prepared. I fold them a few times and do the 'special warp thing' to the cards. When i take them out of my pocket i hold the cards between my index finger and thumb, covering the 'warp secret'. I hold a card in each hand the same way, and show them on both sides, so the only thing someone sees are the folds in the cards.
