If anyone is familiar with the Chicago Opener effect could they offer me some feed back on my personal handling. It's nothing to do with the handling of the cards, just the cards chosen for the effect and the people I perform it for.

Instead of using the standard blue and red bicycle decks I use the "baby blue" and "baby pink" decks.

Also, the people I perform it for are usually my friends and people who work with who know I have difficulty with colours (mild colour dificiencies, i.e. red/green, blue/pink, etc) and I therefore have to let them point out to me that the colour on the back has changed because I can't tell (although in reality I can just about distinguish them even though they think i can't).

This tends to give the impression that I couldn't have been tricking them all along because I can't even see what I did.
