Brock Gill filming for The Discovery Channel

Postby Hodgkinson » Oct 1st, '05, 20:40

Just stopped by Brock Gill's website and saw this

I am currently working on a docu-drama for Discovery Channel and British Broadcasting Company (BBC) called The Miracles of Jesus. In it, I "investigate" whether Jesus was a magician or truly a miracle worker. We have done filming at some of the actual places Jesus performed miracles. I have learned many things through this project, and we have uncovered information that the world has never heard before… something that will blow you away. I am saving it for the show but just wait-you are gonna flip when you hear it. My faith has strengthened after all I have learned. The show will be mainstream and pro-faith.

So far we have done filming in Israel and at a film studio in Malta, an island country in the Mediterranean Sea. We used Mediterranean Film Studios, a facility where they filmed portions of the movies Troy and The Count of Monte Cristo, among others. It was cool to see some of the old props and things from movies that were filmed there.

So far we have completed about 75 percent of the project, but still have a week's worth of filming at the end of this month in Panama City Beach, FL, Dallas, TX, and also some in Phoenix, AZ. They will be filming me perform street magic, my stage show, and a huge stunt that will be happening live in Dallas on or around June 26. If you want to be a part of it, keep your eyes on www.brockgill.com for more details. I will also keep you informed as to when the three-part program will be aired.

Sounds like it could be worth watching. It may (will) even arouse a few complaints from those with a heavy religious background.
