Personally, I think the stripper is the best utility deck you can possibly own. It's gimmicked, but examinable - you can perform stunning effects with little effort - and as your skill with card handling grows, the deck becomes even more useful.

You cannot go wrong with a stripper deck. Buy one - and keep buying them forever.

I own the stripper deck and in my opinion is the best gaffed deck not only is it examinable but can be used in almost any routine to make it easy or to make it even more stunning all together i recommend you get the stripper deck its well worth the 10$ or whatever PM sells it for.

I have a stripper deck but rarely use it. I'm not really sure of it's point once you can control a card with a regular deck adequately (ok I guess it would make controling more than one card alot easier), but I guess I am just short of ideas for the deck apart from using it for tricks I can do pretty well with an ordinary deck. I guess the spectator shuffling the deck it pretty good though...

It's really more a helper once you get into advanced handlings, but a stripper deck properly set up allows for possibly the best impromptu version of Out of This World routine - and that alone makes it worth having in a bag/pocket.

You can also do some cool ace production sequences with a stripper deck. The concept of separating the colors has some interesting applications.

Yes, as you become more skilled you rely on it less, but it's still a useful utility - and one that a spectator can handle and examine.

If, like me, you're crossing over from other areas into cards, if you like evolving your own stuff from an underlying principle or technique, and want a tool that will let you explore your ideas without having to master advanced card principles first, a stripper deck is the very thing. The gimmick is so subtle in a good deck, you'll soon stop cards "getting away" from you during an overhand shuffle. And you really don't want to drop one.

Here endeth my review.

wow... I never thought of this!

I watched out of this world over and over unitl I figured out how to do the trick. I always wondered how to reset with shuffeling (as I know many false cuts but NO false shufles that preserve the entire deck.)

This new idea is great!

Does anyone make "short" strippers rather than "long" ones?

Ellusionist sells a "belly" stripper version of the Black Tiger Decks. I'm sure you can find other companies that do the same with normal Bikes.
