Are the codec's up-to-date with your media player? Check this link for how to update them? You should have media player 10.

http://www.updatexp.com/codec-for-windo ... er-10.html

Also, I know it's a daft question, but have you got a DVD drive on your PC? You've not put it into a CD ROM have you?

If this fails, you may need a program, such as Power DVD, or WinDVD to watch your DVD's, though media player should do it.

Hope this helps,

You may not have a dvd software on your computer, the one i use is also called windvd, if you install this on your machine then you should be able to use....... if you had installed the dvd player yourself then you should;ve got a dvd software with it and if you diod install it yourself let me know..

if this was standard with your computer then you should have got a programme withthe computer tio re-install this dvsd software,

check your cd and dvd.........

I use Cliprex DS DVD Player which came as a free download from somewhere a year or two back. A Google search might find the source but it's a good, easy to use player.

Most films that are released on DVD's these days that have an interactive menu, usually also come with some free software for your PC that can be used to play the whole of the DVD.

As Kati said, make sure that in your PC you have a DVD driive and not just a CD ROM
