Definetely XB if you know only basics. You need a wide range of knowledge in XCM for the System.

Of the 2 I would recommend the XB DVD too. You'll get a good grounding in XCM before moving onto the more advanced handling.

Just out of interest, where is selling XB for $25? As far as I know this is still exclusive to Ellusionist.com, so is someone selling them second-hand?

If you get both, then let us know which one you prefer.

XB is an excellent DVD and well worth the money! Especially that you're getting it second hand! LoL! But if you can get both the System and XB, I would recommend both. Although The System is hard to learn from (as you can see from the reviews), D & D's moves are still excellent! You need a knowledge of the revolution cut by Brian Tudor however.

The 1 hour fanning workshop by Jerry Cestkowski in XB alone is worth most of the XB DVD as it will make you become a pro in fanning.

One hand revolution is taught in Brian Tudor's Show Off 1.

I have found a tutorial for that online at one point in time, but I can't remeber the site.
