Royal Flush Change - Gimmick with a capital "G"

Postby Big Slick Poka » Oct 14th, '05, 00:07

It turns out that the royal flush change that I wanted to learn isn't a sleight at all which makes sense since it looks impossiable. It's a gimmick called "zapped" ah well

Check out the change here (right click save as)....

You make it sound like it's no longer a good effect, just because it has a gimmick. I think it works as an excellent closer to a gamling routine.

You could do a lengthy routine - say drunken poker or Vernon's Poker routine and close with "But why go through all that trouble, when" BAM hit them with zapped. Gimmick? No problem! They just watched you do a whole routine with the deck, they've seen you handle the cards. Even if they DO want to see them, you can switch out - but most people will just be floored.
