Well it's nearly two in the morning. It's sort of saturday but late night Friday. Just checked and I'm here on my own. Done a few replies. Been to sites and bought stuff. Looked for info. And I'm still on my own. Never thought that magicians slept.

BUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I'm off to a land of wonder and sparkles and diamonte!!! Tomorrow I will meet with wizards of the sea! I will live a life that I was born for ... strangeness and wonder and sparkles and fire and diamonte and dreams and happy smiling faces. I only have one life and will not waste it. How many do you have?

Nobody here to reply so I'm off now to buy wonders. See you in the dreams of those you entertain.

Much love.

Funny what drugs/alcohol can do in terms of insomnia and insanity.

I take your quote as it was (I hope!) intended.

Insomnia ... noooooo! When most finish work, then I start. After their bad day at work I hope to make them happy and live in a world of fantasy for a couple of hours.

Insanity ... nooooo! .. (Well maybe a bit but harmless)

Drugs/Alcohol ... nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! If I had those I would be ten times worse.

A serious bit (just this once). When you go to a theatre or watch a film or any show, do you want real life (have you noticed that people in Coronation Street do not go to the toilet or even have one?) or do you want to be transported into a larger than life world of fantasy and excitement.

I am old(ish) and have held (with gratitude) many audiences. To those young people especially who are here and looking to entertain with magic I simply say "believe". "But it's all tricks" you say "teach me". I can't teach tricks, I also need to learn. What I can strongly suggest is that, if you don't believe in magic and fantasy and wonder and see things with child-like amazement - you can't expect your audience to. I often live in a fantasy world because that is where my audience wants to be. Kryzal x

Is there more insanity here?

I see you were even later than I yet still you sought knowledge on the forum! Do I sense kindred madness? There seem to be those who fear a slight insanity (I prefer to call it wonder). Some suspect "substances" at play!

I win though! I did go to a land of wonder and sparkles and diamonte! Today I did meet with the wizards of the sea! I did live a life of strangeness and wonder and sparkles and fire and diamonte and dreams. But ... I didn't care what others thought because I saw happy smiling faces. I learned more. This day of my life was not wasted.

Much love. Kryzal x

too each his own may you enjoy your hapy palce for all eternity.

magician's by enlarge are a creative bunch some of the best with a tinge of madness, i meen to spend 5 weeks to make a coin vanish you've got to be a bit touched.
many of my best ideas have come from a good bout of daydreaming or a real good nap, if it is good enough for einstine then its good enough for me, just to be able to walk the halls of this venerable institution and peek behind some of the doors at the wonders beyond is inspiring.
to see up and comeing stars like our magic mark, making there mark so to speek, guided by venerable sages like our tom shows the comunity spirit that is all to lacking in the real world at large certainly helps me sleep at night.

i for one am glad to have contributed in some small way to keep the spirit of magic alive in thease trying times.
