They Say:
Did you know that card tricks are rated on a scale from 1-10? This next trick was rated a 10 by the Magicians Association of America!!"

Two jokers are placed in the spectator's hand and two jokers are kept in the magician's hand. The magician touches his jokers to the spectator's and claims that they have changed places. "Okay, you are probably wondering why this trick was rated a ten?" The spectator and the magician turn their cards over at the same time revealing that all the cards have changed into four tens!

A super practical miracle you can carry in your pocket or wallet!
It's super easy to perform!
Easy rest for table hopping!
The four cards never leave the spectator's sight!
Only 4 cards used...no deck to carry!
What People Are Saying:

"Ten is so clean, it's like washing your hands with anti-bacterial gel."
- David Acer

Cost
£11.94 (should be £10 surely!)

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)
3 - some sleights used that a beginner may find tricky

Review
Interesting - A trick that comes with its own inbuilt score already. Does it really justify such a score or is the score from the MAA simply part of the patter?

What I like:
-It does what it says on the tin.

-It is indeed very portable

-There are a couple of sleights used but nothing too taxing although some practise is required to avoid getting into some sticky situations

-The magic happens partially in the specs own hands - always a good sign

-It looks pretty damn convincing at the end that there were only ever 4 cards and that they are all tens!

What I don't like so much:
-You can't walk round with the cards in their wallet 'ready to go'. I've developed my own handling that allows me to take the cards out of the packet and with a couple of card placements get into the start position. This looks reasonably OK, allows me to get a break which helps with the first move and if the spec sees the card being placed it just adds to the effect of it being a set of 4 jokers to start.

-If you don't have the set up and each move practised to perfection it is quite easy to get into a sticky situation from which there is no going back.

-You can't hand over the tens in your hand to the spec at the end (though you can probably drop them onto a table if you wanted).

Overall
8.5 This is quite a nice little packet trick which with a deal of practise most of us will be able to handle but I don't think I would go so far as to give it a 10.

I have thought about getting this for a while. I have one question, is it on Bicyle stock?

Yes. Mine came in red bicycle stock so you could carry it around added to a pack of red bikes - but you'd still have a bit of fumbling about to do to get set up ready to go.

Nice review - and I pretty much agree with everything you have to say. Especially the bit about not being able to have it set up ready to go, otherwise I would say this would be a perfect table trick for close-up table hopping (or indeed walk around).

Did this last night straight from the wallet i.e. cards weren't set up ready to go straight away so I had to move a couple of cards around to get into starting position. I just kept talking whilst I did this preparation and it didn't invite any comment.
The look on my two female friends faces when the tens were revealed and the jokers vanished was priceless. I may have to revise my score upwards.
