I found this site the other day and have been browsing through some of the forums and thought it was time I joined up and got involved with the discussions.
I am new to the world of magic although I have always been interested in it but always thought it was going to be too hard for someone like me to do, that was until about a month ago i decided to buy a pack of cards and have a look on the net for some self working tricks(i did not have much luck with that) so i bought a couple of trick deck(gimmicked) but have since realised that every time i perfom the tricks 10/10 specs want to check the cards which is not possible so i have decided to buy a book -Mark Wilsons complete course in magic- which to me seems a great book and for me as a beginner there are some good tricks that i can do and with a little practice im sure they will be even more convincing.
