DVD on Card Control?

Postby DynamicSyntax » Nov 3rd, '05, 23:24

Hi,

Have enough books to warrant an extention to my house. However I'm struggling with card control. Suspect that might have something to do with starting at n-1.

Are there any REALLY good DVDs on the subject that will supplement (and clearly demonstrate the desired effect/outcome) the herds of text I have in print?

I.e. looking for something that starts with overhand shuffles and moves on from there to n+100? n+5 will do fine for the next 6 months, come to think of it.

Any pointers appreciated.

MagicTricks.co.uk has a video download with a free demo called Basic Card Control Video. It has all the basics.

"Born to Perform" as Ace said is a very good DVD, it covers 4 routines that you can use on a regular basis, also covers all the "fundamentals" of card handling and even ventures into a few flourishes.

I would definatly reccomend it, Oz Pearlman has a real nack for teaching these things. I certainly wouldn't be where i am today without that film.
