Postby cool tricks kid » Nov 15th, '05, 01:26

I went to this resturant on my mum's birthday and the magician there showed us some tricks. He folded up a £2O note and when he unfolded it it was a £5O note, then he told me to name a currency and i said french and he unfolded a french note? how do you do this? any ideas? :(

Just to expand on that a little (!), if you're askig how a trick is done then we can't help as we don't give away secrets. If you're asking for advice on where to go to buy such routines and tricks then we might be able to point you in the right direction. If you could clarify your question, we might be able to do something useful for you  .

It is simple, the trick is done with great focus and mental clarity.

(Once you have achieved this, you purchase the method then practice!)

no offence but if you cant tell people things in the tips section then maybe the name should be changed. I am asking how you fold up a real £2O note and unfold it into a £5O note. If someone could send me a personal message, that would be great.

As has been advised, you should read the rules. Giving tips towards better handling is perfectly allright, but giving away the secret of a trick certainly is not.

This is true in all parts of the forum, even in the Magicians Only section the only methods revealed are those which members have come up with themselves. In fact, we would request that you don't ask for secrets by PM either, as it is a waste of your time because no-one will give you them.

Please don't be discouraged by this, if you have a read of the rules all will be made clear.

a good place to start would be to search the forum for a "bill switch" review...

to give you an idea a bill switch can be done using Jay Scott Berrys "cloaking device"

We pay... If you really want to learn, learn to purchase the things you want, instead of finding freebies everywhere.

Edited By mods: Abusive language like that will not be tolerated on these forums. People have tried to help you within the rules we have. If you fail to understand these and insist on being foul-mouthed, not only will you receive no help, but you will be banned. I suggest you do as you said you would and find another forum.

He must be alright to buy it, because he's going to need £70 just to perform it!

What an interesting thread! I wish I'd been a part of this before that idiot got banned. [sarcasm]Anyway, can someone give me the secret to it. It's really cool and I want to show I to my pet sqirrel, Bonzo.[/sarcasm]

What do these people think we are? As if his girlfriend would give a damn about a trick shoddily performed by someone missing a chromosome.
