It's a clever idea. It works - you get believable blisters on your fingers of the name of a card. How you present it is obviously what makes it. I use it sparingly - but it has a good impact when I use it.
Hope that helps.

anything good on this trick?

As this was posted in the Reviews Request section I guess you were asking for Review!

Have a look at http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic1836.p ... perception - it was started over two years ago but will serve to give more info on the idea. BTW: It's always a good idea to use the Search function before asking as most things have already been reviewed or discussed - I just put in Pyro Perception, clicked Search for all terms, then highlighted Reviews in the Forum selection.

You know, I loathe card tricks but this is just bizarre enough...

Where's a link to where to find it?

Two US Sources: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=564
and http://www.ellusionist.com/order/pyro-p ... sh-pen.htm
(apologies to all who have followed the other threads here re both those sources!)

and probably obtainable from a lot of other places as well!

You need to let your fingers heal first
Actually - yes you can. I did it last night at a restaurant after being reminded that I had it. I was a bit out of practice and got the blisters all wrong (that'll teach me). Fortunately I was able to stall and do it right.

I wouldn't repeat it straight away - especially if the last people you showed it to can see you (like in a restaurant). It takes away some of the impact - unless you want to 'heal yourself' but that just makes the spec think the blisters are fake or something - and they're really convincing.
