The Effect
The magician shows 2 black tubes. He reveals that under one of them he has a peanut butter tin and under the other he has a tin of jelly (or something else in a tin)
He then puts the black covers back over the top of them. He says that by magic he will make them swap place. So he literally swaps them round. The audience laugh and so the magician says "oh ok, you've guessed it" and puts them back - shows audience the tins - they are back to origional place)
Then with a bit of magic talk he has actually made them swap places without touching them.
Cost
Ok. I bought it from Penguin - it cost me £14.55 (not including p+p)
Difficulty
A few slights required but easy with a little practise. Takes a little getting used to. (routine)
Review
I really liked the trick - i'd seen a video demo and liked it so it went on my birthday list. I recieved it and really like the effect. As a childrens entertainer I'm sure this will be a hit. The people i have shown have been impressed and have enjoyed the humourous side to the effect.
Overall
Great trick - A little awkward to set up when an audience is around. I bring it in on a tray to get out of this problem.
Reccomend it to kids entertainers. Not so much for the serious magicians. (LOL)

Is this effect adjustable to a presentation which will appeal to both kids and adults.

It depends how you perform it.
In my opinion its more for kids. But whatever i do for kids, - parents and adults usually enjoy it too!
If you perform it aiming it towards kids and then add jokes for the adults then i think it would suit everybody.
Soz, that may not be much help but I'm a kids entertainer and dont perform alot infront of adults. Only parents of kids etc
