I was wondering if you were celebrating it early

I don't know what I have yet, so I'll just need to see what "Santa" brings me

Best thing I got was "The Devils PIcture Book" by Derren Brown. Made all the more special because I know what she went through to get it. I also got a nice hip flask which she had engraved. Not magical I know but still very nice.

Apart from that I got the biggest and worst pile of cr*p I have ever seen! Not only that but a lot of duplicates. What does a 31 year old male want with 3, yes 3! sets of measuring spoons!!! It must be that I am getting older, but I am starting to have a box of unwanted gifts that I can re-distribute to people for birthdays, xmas next year!

I got Paul Zenon's 'Street Magic', 'Mind Magic'by Marc Lemezma, a cheeky little book called 'No Klutz Magic' which came with a nice length of orange rope and a metal ring - several magical and jokey ideas in the book, and also a tin entitled 'Astounding Magic Tricks' where the contents are cards with details of 16 various tricks/stunts intended for after dinner situations. Plenty of great reading material. I also got a nice deck of cards called 'Santa Cards' where the cards are cut out in the shape of Santa's head so definitley a one way deck - but rather obvious!

I got a deck of tarot cards. We normally limit our gifts to £10, so imagine my surprise when they were £17! Mind you, the structure of the deck has given me some interesting ideas... Muahahah!

Anyway, I got my brother-in-law a deck of belly stripped bikes and taught him a couple of pub genius effects during a quiet moment. He's a natural, and knows that keeping the secret makes him look far better than giving it away

I got myself "Scarn on Card Tricks" but it's not arrived yet, chiz chiz.

Hey - I got no magic :(

But my family and friends don't know what to buy anyway - I'm sick of 'Woolworths' Magic - I'm not 12...

In other things,
I got a book - ooh cooking Hugh Fearnly-Whittingstall,
Music Dvd - Muse Tour,
Some weird Triops - that grow into little shrimp things in a tnak - they look cool,
Chocolates,
and I got bit of money for my Guit...Magic - hmm... No - must buy Guitar...
ah - but the magic looks so tempting :(
