Slow Motion Coins Across

Postby seige » Jan 27th, '06, 20:25

My first video contribution...

A bit unpolished! Needed a spectator to make sense of it really!

You'll need Quicktime, it's an MP4 file.

Sorry, but this was the fastest encoding codec I could use in the short time (I put it together when I got home) and I am off ooot for some beeeeeers now.

Good luck!

Chris,

Nice effect. I have a lot of Sankey stuff, but I haven't come across this before. I kind of know what you mean about the spectator; them holding onto your wrist is a key point of the effect. Even without that its a really nice sequence.

Question is can you convince Mrs Seige to participate before the competition close? Or do you have something else up your sleeve?

Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

I had to download Quicktime 7 to successfully view the vid so I guess my 'latest version' was nothing of the sort!

Good routine, well performed and very entertaining - nice one :D !

I think this one comes from 'Front Row Sankey'

Mrs Seige has promised that she'll have a go at being a spectator, and I feel the routine would mightily benefit from it! Sorry about the 'rushed' performance, it should ideally be done a lot slower and more relaxed!

As far as the competition goes, I am sure there are many more skilful and worthy entries flooding in... I would hope so anyway!

That was pretty "skilful and worthy" - great effect Seige!

My original reluctance to post it (until I was prompted by pdjamez ;)) was that it plays much better to a spectator than it does on film.

I've just checked, and it IS from the 'Front Row Sankey' DVD. Although the method is actually Forton's, I believe (although I am sure this isn't credited by Sankey himself).
