Note: you can easily retain the top stock if you'd like. Just do the cut as taught, then at the end, instead of replacing the last packet on top, do a deck flip or any other method of turning over the deck and replace the packet face-down.

To keep the bottom stock just do the same thing but with the deck face-up.
