Playing Tricks (ftn)

Has anyone seen this show ?

On the whole it's OK but there are some real gems in it if you look hard enough, which leads me to my question.

On the last show (well a recent one anyway) the magi was carrying a bottle of water, a can of pop and a glass. He asks his victim (sorry.. specie) to hold the water after which he opened the can and started pouring the contents into the glass only to let go of the glass. Most of us have seen a floating glass (if you know what I mean) but what impressed me was that whilst it was floating he was actually pouring the drink from the can into it, filling it up before he grabs hold of it.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of this illusion as I've searched but I can't find one that specifically mentions filling the glass from the can whilst it floats.

Any pointers to anything about this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Slippery

You can do this with pretty much all the floating glass effects. It would be a bit c*** (not the best) if you couldn't. Check out magicbox their's is the one I use and it's pretty solid.

Alakazam provided all the gimmicks for Playing tricks so I assume the one they sell will be the one used in the show.

Be aware it isn't nearly as impromptu as they made it look.

It's on Freeview on FTN in the UK. It's actually a repeat, but it's usually on at 8pm most week nights (including tonight) with a repeat later on in the evening. I finally saw Loki's Matrixesque dancing cane routine this time around and it's really rather smashing.
