Why not use your real name?

I agree. I think you should just use your real name unless you have a good reason to use a stage name.

Maybe if you really need a name to distinct yourself from others and to make your name more rememberable (is that an English word? lol) you could make up a slogan which is inspired by your main act or type of magic you do on stage.

Hope this helps.

you dont really need to be too imaginative. My name is Chris Beard and my stage name for shows e.t.c is "Magic Chris" lol - it gets the job done!

Love

Chris

How about Captain Magic and then you can insist on wearing your pants on the outside, lime green spandex tights and have a huge dayglo orange cape?

Actually second thoughts I want that name and costume.

Stick with your real Name is probably best

Scudgebucket.

You could walk on stage with a large green bucket and make rabbits appear inside it.

Can you get that from Penguin yet?

Be happy, at least 'Shane' is a name people know.

Think of 'Katriel'. Urg.

I went to Cottenham for a week to try it out (hated it) and everyone there insisted on calling me Alex (middle name). It got very confusing after a few days.

Well I would probably have a stage name if I did gigs. David Evans isn't a name that will set the world alight. Maybe I could call myself "Myster E".

Hey Shane, how about "The Magic Sock" or use your inital to expand a magic acronym, like Supernaturally Observable Conjuring (now the path has been set for all you acronym crunchers out there to take it away).

For future reference, no it isn't a word, but it should be, I like it. Anyway, the actual word is memorable.
