I'm not sure what I think, really.

Don't get me wrong - your presentation and technique are sound - the trick was performed very well. I just don't think I "get it", though.

What is the purpose of the shuffling, if the cards are on the table the entire time?

For some reason the shuffling portion seems like it doesn't belong.

that is a good point actually. maybe if you acted like you were going to deal yourself a better hand all along, then as you started to deal you better hand you said, "hang on, i've got a better idea, i'll just use yours"
the shuffling bit did seem to go on a touch too much, and yes i spotted the zarrow shuffle, and was then very confused as to why you actually did it! although, had you not mentioned it i probably wouldn't have spotted it

I have to aggree with this. At the moment, the shuffling makes no sense at all.

Also, yes I did spot the Zarrow shuffle because it stuck out like a sore thumb. Every shuffle you did was different; there was no consistency. If you're going to "throw it in" and try and fool people into thinking its a regular shuffle you should make every shuffle look the same. The Zarrow technique also needs work, it was sloppy and rushed. Slow it down. Infcat, this can go for every thing about this routine, just slow it down and take your time.

I performed the trick as it is in his notes, and I'm sorry, it is in his Sex Sells notes.

I did the Zarrow Shuffle to see if I had got any better, and so that I could get some comments on it aswell
