i came up with it myself. but that hardly means it's original!!
and now i realise i uploaded the wrong video, should've put one up where i clearly show my hand empty at the end. dear dear... you get the idea at least.
so yeah, i've shown this to a few magicians and i havn't found anyone who's seen it befor, and therefor no one who can name it for me, so I'm calling it the GLS-vanish, until I'm corrected.

edit: and someone needs to call the grammar police on me!

It's a very nice vanish - good idea and good work!

One quick idea I had to continue with the vanish idea is that the vanished card is now in Tenkai position, so if you palm it as you take the pack into your other hand you can spread it face-up to show it gone. You could then reproduce it from anywhere...

i don't palm it. not at any point in that video at least. but it's a thought.

so, if i have indeed created a vanish, should i try and go about publishing it in a magic magazine or something?
anyone know how i would manage this?

If you did that you'd be a SH/CW.

I would pm some of the members who class themselves as CW as they might have a good idea.

Actually, you could try contacting seige as he will have a section on his upcoming NUMS website devoted to selling magic effects.

the article is in it's first draft plus pictures at the moment.
when it's finished I'm hoping it will be in magicseen.
also, when finished i will be making it available to anyone who wants it

A very good and visual vanish. Well done there!

When it is available how will we be able to learn it? Are you selling it, or?
