Does anyone know about reselling things in the UK?

I tried to contact some wholesalers (for this idea i had), but they talk about resale licences or resale numbers...I know that's an American system, but what is the UK equilivant and where can i find out more information?

It sounds rather confusing. Are they referring to resale or retail? Either way, if the idea is original and your own then there's no need for any licensing arrangements unless you want them to be included. They might want some assurance that they will be the only ones authorised to handle the item(s) and will want that to remain in force for, say, 12 months. After that you could renew the arrangement or appoint someone else to handle things. If you're serious about this, you need to talk to a lawyer or at least your local bank manager - it'll save you an awful lot of trouble in the long run!
