Well, I don't know how it was done and I didn't spot anything, so yeah, that's what I'm saying.

It was good...one tip though. The packets 'kissed' once as you levered over the selection, but then you separated them before doing the move, which made it relatively obvious to me at least, though not to spectators I'm sure. Try to do the move as you turn over the card instead of after it.

I hope that doesn't give too much away as it's hard for me to be any more general, let me know if you think it does and I'll PM you instead.

:)

i know what you mean by kissed but i did do the move as you described! but they kiss as i slightly angle the packet down! done to a real audiance to get tremendous reactions when i take the card and insert it in the middle of the deck!

I'm sorry, that was my fault. You are indeed correct.

By the way, I like to do this as taught in Born To Perform - card to mouth. Brilliant!

I've only been actively into card magic for for like 5 months so I'm not sure of this, but isn't that move a really easy one? The video looks great though...!

the effect can certainly be achieved by relativly easy methods but given the title of the thread i think he was going with something else.

The tip over move doesn't really fit here. You'd be better off with a top change.

Ah, I see we have a young apprentice

The bets effects have the simplest methods. Watch Daryl for instance. On all of his DVDs, there are absolutely no knuckle-busting tricks at all. I have learned a lot from him, and I'm not just talking about the tricks

I would recommened you to buy Daryls Card Revelations from his site: www.foolerdoolers.com

Yea I'm struggling with different kinds of passes myself. I'm only comfortable with the invisible turn over for the moment, but I'm practicing other methods.
Right now I'm wondering if I should buy the Expert At the Card Table book or if it's too old-->should I buy a newer book with improved methods? I know there's another forum for this kinda talk but just thought it would fit in as u recommended the DVD. Ill look into Daryl's videos for sure, they seem great...
