Whats the best bite a coin version (UK)

Postby dave_100 » Feb 26th, '06, 12:57

Im after a good version of bitten coin, which does not have obvious cracks, and is strong and well crafted.

some questions on the replacement b**ds-
How easy are they to change?

how often is it required to change them?

how long do they last?

thanks

They are really easy to change. I've had my bitten 50p for about 5 months now and have only had to change once. Its best to use of them at a time incase one fails on you while perfomring and it also adds strength to the coin.

The best in my opinion are the 50p and the 2p.

For some reasons the 10p versions never seem to look right and the crack appears to be more visible in the 10p than in others.

I agree. I was quite concious about the cracks in my 10p version. They were even more noticable after a few "coin in beer bottle" effects. Also, I noticed that the b***s perished soon after. Must be because they became wet. Still a great effect, however.
