new to the board and magic in general

I'm really new at this. i have a professor who does magic tricks in the middle of class to wake everyone up. I'm sure that i won't have anything useful to add, but I'm mostly looking to browse for tips on basic sleights at which I'm not very proficient etc. i thought i should introduce myself first.

hahah, deal.
apparently, during the last class period of every semester, he does the "floating rose" (or something like that) trick that copperfield does, but he has a new technique that everyone says makes it better. he might even be on this board; i've never asked him.

If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??
