I can't make magic cakes, but being Chinese, I shall play to stereotypes and offer a bowl of Fortune Cookies!

*breaks one open*

What the... *eyes Fortune cookies suspiciously*

I think the Great Blagini will be having a partner soon.

I tell ya I go away for a few days on a magic cake baking course and the C.U.P.S forum goes mad.

Talk of urinating magicians and the such like

Mind you there seems to be more members to our collective / help group of sorts.

I went a whole weekend without spending any money on magic but instead went over some of my old magic dvds and tidied my close up box.
Do I get a badge or a gold star?

I've been good this month. Only 3 of the new USPCC stripper decks. Oh hell, and Brown's books! Forgot about those babies. That's about 90 quid in total.

I can highly recommend the "having no money at all" cure. It seems to be working very well.

Of course the best way to achieve that is to spend all your money on magic...

I like it! The vicious circle tactic!

I thought that. But I keep tempting myself. £15 here and £10 there quickly adds up....

My rent will have to wait.

yep, £15 isn't a lot untill you buy 10 things which aren't a lot in one month!!!

Only been home 29 hours and C.U.P.S is back. I don't dare look at my account balance. And I still have import tax to pay on one order!!

Pass the magic cookies please and the box of tissues!!

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

I think C.U.P.S may infectious!!

My girlfriend, who's not at all into magic and suffers greatly, said she was surfing the internet yesterday, ended up on a magic website and couldn't resist buying Jay Sankeys Revolutionary Card Magic as she said it looked really good.

I'm not sure whether there is a government department we can contact about this because if it is the case then C.U.P.S could crash the economy

Well, I've been thinking how I can incorporate CUPS with NUMS... and I came up with an idea... CUPS-HELP.

By becoming a CUPS-HELP (UK only) member (for a small yearly fee) you get the following from NUMS:

1. A membership pack, including card, member number, and GUIDE TO SUFFERING FROM CUPS

2. A special 15% discount at NUMS

3. Access to the CUPS-HELP website, where you are able to add items to your 'most wanted' list. The 'most wanted' list will give you access to just about any magic item commercially available, and of course, rather than ordering those items from the US and having to pay tax, shipping etc. NUMS will do the legwork for you, and you will pay the 'going rate' less your 15%—and get your items for less than it would cost you to order from the US or abroad.

4. A monthly insider newsletter telling you of the latest products coming out, and ideas as to what will be the 'next big thing' in magic.

5. Entry to the NUMS monthly prize draw

Does anyone think this could be a good idea?

How does this alleviate my CUPS?
By making an attractive money-saving offer, and also getting you to learn the virtues of WAITING for something, your CUPS factor will be decreased! Also, by receiving your CUPS membership card, you will be proudly admitting your condition.
