Certainly not an original effect but a fantastic one nonetheless.

I haven't studied anyone elses handling on this especially for the first count but I was shown a way to do it by a magician friend of mine named Craig (the same one thanked in the credits at the end of the video). However his version involved having to make a slight adjustment to the order of the cards before proceeding on with the trick. My version however not only leaves the cards in the order required to carry on, but even adds a small subtelty to the regularness of the packet before the trick begins, even though I did not make use of this in the video.

The hardest part of this trick was getting the cards to land on the floor still in view of the camera. It took me three takes overall because they kept fluttering out of the shot. I think it looks cool to have them drop all the way to the floor rather than just on to the table top. It really emphasises that they are only single cards.

Anyway, enjoy.

Nice work. Personally, I don't think you should hold off on the final turnover and reveal as long as you did. I think the faster pacing of the effect increases its' power.

Great job.

I really like it too.
Nice effect! Also very nice performance.
I like that you show 4 jokers in the beginning, because some people tend not to do that.

I think all of these would be the people who bought it from penguin magic. I have their instructional video for NFW and despite Oz doing his version of showing the 4 jokers in the preview video, Jay Noblezada neglects to teach it. He goes straight in tells you to just say you have four jokers and one of them turns face down. Which I think is a very "half-arsed" way of doing things. Why would anyone care that it has turned over if you haven't shown it face up to start with?

I suppose this is all down to personal performing style and what you actually think of the trick. When I'm performing it I want people to be disarmed as they see another joker turned over and think "Oh! That was clever. I never saw him do that." If people aren't massively impressed by the jokers turning face down then I'm okay, 'cause they're probably think light-heartedly thinking "Oh, how clever" and almost just humouring me as I show them a mildly impressive trick. Then you drop bombs on their head when you show them all to be aces. And when they are dropped to the floor it's like a slightly smaller bomb each time hammering down on their head.
