Any idea of how to use this prop:

According to this topic it's described as a "the box of numbers" (but mind you it may be called something else).

A Google finds that the idea is that a person puts the numbered blocks in any order, and the magician can then (by magic) tell the person what order they are in.

The big question is how is the prop used?
