Slights

Postby Dreamcatcher » Mar 5th, '06, 22:29

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can give me some guidance as to the best DVD/book on card/deck slights.

I feel that having the ability to acheive slight of hand will only enhance the quality of presentation, including using gaffed decks.

Thanks for any help...

Books: Card College by Roberto Giobbi. It's an excellent series (5 volumes). IMO, the best on fundumentals of card sleights.

Daryl's Encyclopedia Of Card Sleights would be a logical place to start learning sleights.

I would have to say either Ellusionist's Crash Course or Revolutionary Card Technique

If you're a total beginner at sleights, it might be best to simply download the "Basic Card Control" video. I think it's still about a tenner. It gives you the basics, like top and bottom control, injog, pinkie break, and a nice demo routine to get you thinking.
