Allen Tipton wrote::) With the Ted Lesley system you have JS= jack of Spades. AD= Ace of Diamonds etc. The deck I have is marked in the upper left corner, both ends. If you DIY you can place the markings where ere you wish.I did once, have a Jumbo deck and the marks were half way down the side. In the upper left corner with a spread you can read all the backs INSTANTLY. So NO calculations at all. It seems bold biut unless you know where it is difficult to spot. When you know it just jumps out at you.

With both the TL and BW systems, I really wonder why they call it a 'system' at all. Writing AD= Ace of Diamonds or a number is hardly an 'innovation'.
Actually the TL sounds like the 'ultimate' system, except you see a Diamond shape instead of D.

Are there any printed systems that use the back design and not real word/symbols? I've seen 'samples' of marked decks that alter bike back markings. Cannot be read without training. It was some 'history of' type page I can't find again. Not an actual product.

If you aren't gonna call it a system then what are you gonna call it. Not sure about the Ted Lesley but the Boris Wild markings definitely need to be processed "systematically" if you wanna know what the card is.

Well, I'd just call it cards with values written on the back. It's not new/innovative/unique.
The brochure suggested something more subtle.
