IMO shadow coins ( as named by Michael Ammar) is the most visual and direct coin assembly. Just 4 coins

and two hands - no cards! David Roth has a similar routine too. Just a wave of your hands over the coins and they travel...
Shadow coins is easy to perform and always gets a great reaction.

The Roth routine is called Chink-a-Chink and was the first real bare-handed coin assembly. It requires a soft surface or plenty of background noise to prevent preceptible talking of the travelling coins.
The Ammar routine uses something extra that most people have. Michael Ammar likes to do this down on the carpet so it appears that he doesn't even touch the coins and they simply travel when he waves his hand across them.
