no doubt there's more than 2 TM members who share a birthday. statistically speaking it should be quite a few members birthdays each day.
but it is mine today as well...
and no-one had bought me anything magic related (yet). and while i generally never ask for anything magical people do know how much i love it and sometimes i get some stuff.
so... when someone buys you a magical suprise do you find that you're usually disappointed with it? unless it's something you've specified (which defeats the object of the suprise).
it may just be me, but if someone who isn't in to magic buys me something magical it's usually rubbish, or of a level that i find somewhat laughable.
does this happen to everyone?
can the lay folk just not buy magical items?
(i suppose it makes sense, just wanted to rant about it)

To a certain extent I have the same misgivings about surprise magic prezzies but I've been lucky because my ever-lovings always ask if there's anything particular that I'd be interested in and I can then casually produce pre-prepared shedloads of printouts covering my latest wish list!

It was my Birthday last week, and always for birthdays and Christmas, people who know Im into magic always buy me cheesy things like a pem in the shape of a magic wand, and underwear with cards etc. on them.
Anyway, Happy Birthday.

underwear with cards etc. on them.
The mind just boggles at the thought of what could be done with those!
'Er, would you like to shuffle the cards lady, then try and find the Joker?'
And don't even mention a pinky break!

Counting down til when I go to the pub heh heh

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??
