axis change?

Postby hame » Jul 27th, '06, 04:31

hrmm... interesting how many people said it looked like axis change. somehow i thought that axis change has got a different hand position no? correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not entirely sure.

this also made me think about the means to achieve an end. if i was performing for a layperson, whatever method i used, no matter how much i struggled to learn that method, it will almost always get the same reaction. to them I'm just performing another card changing trick. is it just me or do anyone else feel that way too?

not forgetting, this change rocks!!!

Hame, when the change looks the same, you are right the method makes no difference. But if the changes look different, i would always go for the more visual one.

Regarding the change, I like it a lot and personally at least would prefer this change over the axis change.

Is there anywhere on this site where you can learn to do stuff like this? I've not seen this before and think it's an amazing effect and would love to learn it.

:D

Unfortunately not, we try to steer clear of instructional stuff for many reasons but I'm sure stevebo or any of the other guys who posted would be able to point you in the right direction of where to find details. It will probably be book or DVD based so you've have to invest some cash but it would be well worth it.

Oh definitely. I don't mind spending a bit of cash. I've done it for A Dream of Aces and some other street magic based stuff.

Thanks.
