Hello everyone, I'm Magical Mark!!!

Postby Magical Mark » Mar 19th, '06, 20:44

Hello all,

I'm Magical Mark Watson, I'm 14 years old, and I have recently joined Talkmagic to meet other, more experienced, magicians in the hope of some unique knowledge and insight!

I've been interested in magic for many years, watching it on the telly and even a few live stage shows. I was always fascinated by it!

I suppose this comes from my family background. My great-grandparents and my great-great-grandparents used to own and run the Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth. My dad even remembers visiting there as a child!

Over the last couple of years I have taken up magic as a serious hobby and have bought many books on manipulation and sleight of hand (amongst other things). I have also learnt to juggle, and am now extending that to learn with rings and clubs!

I did my first paid gig last weekend for a friend of the family, and I really enjoyed it! I will definitely do more in the future!

Well, that's all folks!!!

Many thanks,

Magical Mark

Welcome to TM but I must warn you, we already have a member called Magic Mark who's been around on the boards for a few years now.

This may get a little confusing

Hi and welcome to TM

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Hello again

Postby Magical Mark » Mar 20th, '06, 17:18

Dear all,

Thank you all for your hellos!

For Option, I'm afraid our family does not still own the circus. I don't quite know what happened there, but it is now owned by Peter Jay (from Peter Jay and the Jay Birds - an old pop band). We do go and visit most years, but we have seen it get worse and worse each year as animals are squeezed out of the shows, for legal reasons. That's a shame!

To dat962 who mentioned another Magic Mark, I'm sure our online signatures will tell us apart!

Many thanks

Magical Mark

Crikey - I remember them quite well - a version of the Can-can was one of their hits!
