apologies if anyone has asked about this before but i did have a look through the old topics. I have Lennart Green Vol 1 which explains it and have tried it many times but it seems to kind of get stuck in my hand and the card almost open like a book rather than flip out. Hope that makes sense and was just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers if possible

This can be from a variety of reasons; your index finger could be too proud of the deck, your middle fingers may not be getting out of the way in time, but the most likely is that you are not moving your little finger fast enough.

How long have you been practicing? It's not a 'one afternoon' move.

yeah i know it cant be done quickly i have been doing it for a couple of weeks, i just feel my grip cant be right, sometimes it works well others nothing really seems to happen
