IT Woes.

Postby themagicwand » Mar 23rd, '06, 16:58

Hi there. I work pro as a table-hopper (wedding receptions, restaurants etc) as well as earning the bulk of my wages through kids parties. I think I know my stuff pretty well. However...

I have never, ever gotten on with IT. What is it with that stuff?! It's impossible to work with! It's invisible!!! How on Earth am I meant to tie it, hide it, secretly pull it out of my pocket, stick cards onto it and all manner of other stuff when I can't see/feel it!!!

There. I've said my piece. My path and the path of IT shall never meet again. I've tried a hundred times. I refuse to try any more.

I’m completely with you. I have 20-20 vision but I can’t see the stuff. So how do you strip it? Someone said work with loops that way you can have it round your wrist so it’s easy to get to! No, then I can get it tangled round my wrist and not much else. Tried reels, tried ready stripped, tried loads of gimmicks like AE and Hummer card but none of it helps. Stupid stuff really ticks me off.

Who’s afraid of the IT? Me, that’s who.

My trick is to stick it on the inside of my cheek. This way I can always reach for it when needed without having to see it plus it gives me a sensation of the tension applied on it
(Cues here taken on Micheal Ammar's Dvd)
Hope it help!

I recommend getting hold of Jon LeClair's dvd "who's afraid of the IT' as well as getting Michael Ammar's dvd's (Easy to Master Thread Miracles) This should give you all you need in how to strip it, use it etc.

The secret to a succesful rain dance is all about timing
