Well, there was a touch of sarcasm there, but in Fox's defense, it is more balanced than say a liberal CNN. Fox is more conservative, no doubt, but it identifies the commentators as liberal or conservative as they give their views. I find that knowing the source's political viewpoint helps me evaluate the information.

As far as news (not commentary), Fox has reported many stories that CNN and the other networks would not touch, until it broke, and then did very little reporting.

In terms of reporting the "truth" I work in the US government have seen reporting of things I've been involved in that were not remotely close to what occurred. So the truth is in the beholder.

Perhaps this should be another thread in the Dove's Head?

Hehe, sorry it was a flippant comment, this probably isn't the place to discuss politics and news bias. That sort of thing has a tendency to get unnecessarily heated

Anyway, good on Copperfield if he did it :D

Agreed. Topics to stay away from are politics and religion.

Oh why can't we just be adults about our differing points of view? :) I think all points of view have merit or why would be so stongly defend them?

In a similar vein, I guess you can hand the stuff over, but use theatrical pick pocketing to get it all back... plus his wallet too.
