i would like to respond to the top part of this post

http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic1221.php

i think that is ridiculous if you have purchased a full retail DVD and learnt from it why not pass it onto someone else and give them the chance to learn what you have? if its because the author of the DVD would be losing out then look at it like this, not everyone can afford to buy a brand new DVD and by depriving someone from learning from the DVD you have i find that selfish, and if they cant get it 2nd hand they wont buy it at all so how would the author be losing? Like i said when i first came here i said i would share my magic with others when i get good and if you deprive people from buying/selling you are depriving the future of magic in the long run. before i even came by chris i said the same thing as he did for so many years magicians have wanted to keep all tricks top secret and if you apply that to everything then i see it as you are depriving the trick for others to learn therefore where is the future of magic going? there are only so many times you can perform the same trick and when you have done it that many times its time to expose it, and that will continue and motivate you to find new material to come up with.

That is not piracy or fraud

Thanks

the fact of the matter remains.. if you wish to use this forum then you abide by the rules. bleating about it isnt going to change anything

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..
