how long does stuff usually take to arrive from the us to the uk?

7 to 10 days - unless customs have seized it - then up to 3 weeks - plus you have to pay Mr. Postman Import Duty before he'll hand over your magic

how much is that? so is it not the best idea to order from them then?

I think (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) - it is either a percentage of the order value or a sliding scale based on your order value. I'm pretty sure that for orders under a certain value customs won't bother with your package. However, those that are above this value have a chance of being stopped, opened up and then having nice big red warning notices slapped on them. These instruct your local postal depot / postman not to deliver the item until the Import Duty has been paid.

I've had about 5 separate orders from Ellusionist, and only one has ever been stopped by customs. This order was during a severe bout of CUPS and had a total value of over $140. I can't remember the exact value of the import fee, but it was around £20. However, if you have a postman as friendly as mine - he might just pop it through the door anyway - and forget about those silly red notices

I have ordered 3 times from Ellusionist, the first one was Extreme Beginnerz DVD and 2 Viper decks (about $40), i got charged about £12 import tax. The other 2 were 3 packs of ghosts (about $15 - $20) in one, and 36 tiger decks, 3 split spades decks and a black ghost deck (about $200) in the other and that didnt get stopped either. I think its purely at random.

Oh, and the first one arrived in about 2 weeks, the 2nd on in 4 days, and the 3rd in about 10 days.
