Afternoon Guys,

I rememer watching TV when i was younger, and there was an advert for a throat lozenger or somthing, with the slogan "suck them and see".

I cant for the life of me remember what product it was, anyway remember?

Thanks,

Rob

I do believe it was Strepsils...

Then again maybe it was Fishermans Freinds (or is that just a Freudian slip)?

If my memory is as it should be, and it ain't :? I do recollect a line from a Mike Harding song, "Suck 'em and see, you'll agree, they're the best in all the land"

Which refered to "Uncle Joe's mint balls" Keep you all aglow, hey up, give 'em to your granny and whatch the bu**er glow, away with coughs and sniffles, keep a few in hand .... Suck em and see, you'll agree, they're the best in all the land.

Sad bu**er, or what

I'll have to seek it out, I'm sure I have it somewhere on LP and MP3 :?

I'm just working on thier sites at the moment and I'm hoping for a launch come end of this month, i'll be sure to have you guys Beta testing the sites and giving me your opinions and such like .... its all VERY exciting... this time next year Rodney....

Thanks for the thoughts on the advert, someone in the office today suggested it was Lockets, so i've crossed my fingers and gone with that one.

I was going to do a google search on "suck them and see",

What kind of 'Diving' are we talking about here? are we talking diving in 'the biblical sense'? lol

Ah i am glad this seemingly somewhat random conversation has got a few people talking. I'm stearing clear of the whole Magic section of the site, otherwise i fear that the old CUPS will get me and i'll be distracted from the job at hand.

Hope everyone is well, i should be back more often at the end of this month as i'll have finished my current projects and be settling in the lul before the storm for a while ... so it'll be anchors up and cards-away to get back on the boards more often for a little magestic fun!

Thanks,

Rob
