I went to the libary near my house and I went looking for card trick books Out of almost the whole libary there was only 2 but was it worth it. They were great I recemend them to anyone who wants to learn neat card tricks. The names are:Self-Working card tricks the other one was MORE self-working card tricks both by Gary Faulves.

My dad bought the first one...but only for the last trick. But it was worth it.

Any trick in particular that you like out of the first book?

I didnt really like the book very much, i eventually got better at slieghts, so i just started coming up with my own stuff. And at the moment, i just cant seem to find the book. lol

If you haven't already got it, there really is only one book you should be working your way through if you want to make any headway in card magic and that is "The Royal Road To Card Magic"... Accept no substitute!

Royal Road is THE classic text for beginners. I would also heartily recommend Giobbi's 4 volume Card College series for anyone who is serious about card magic. Much more complete than Royal Road and contains much better updated card effects as well. Card College is great for beginners and experts alike. Has just about every card sleight and flourish you can imagine.

royal road is a MUST read for beginners and "experts" alike!
