I bought Collectors Workshop CHRONOLOGUE about six or seven years ago and although I really used to enjoy performing it (I think it's ingenious!), I have not used it for ages.

The one weak point in the effect for me was the odd/even date issue (sorry to be obscure but if you're familiar with the effect you'll understand what I mean). I was never very happy with the supplied patter/presentation here and felt there had to be some way to improve it. After much thought I have to confess that I could not come up with another, better approach. Does anyone here have any experience with this and have you found an elegant & convincing way round this.

Funny how posting something like that focuses the mind! Minutes after posting the request I had the seed of an idea that might make the effect stronger.
