Postby ohminku » Jun 26th, '06, 17:16

Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys know what this is called, I was messing around with it, seems less sneakier than the pass, especially when performing for other magicians or people with knowledge of the pass... thx!

I can't see the video, only hear the sound mate...

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

You know, that was the control, you turn off the lights, and then take the card and put it on top  - jk, fixed the link!

I can see it. I'm just not sure what it is. It's pretty cool though. I don't know many card controls though. Hopefully someone else can help you out.

Thanks,

i assume your just slipping the chosen card out of the deck to the bottom (ie like doing a pass but only passing one card) then shuffling off to leave it on top.. i think its called a sideslip or a variation of a sidesteal but i could be wrong.... if this isnt the method then i claim it as a mogslip!
