I am not sure if any of you caught it but there is this trick on Mindfreak, the one where he asks someone to take off their hat and think of a fear and a spider comes out. I thought it was the funniest thing how that man took off his hat. Once you see how he took of his hat you instantly knew that it was setup. Next time he is doing that trick, take a look at how the victim takes off their hat and think to yourself if that is a way you would take off your hat.

I might be wrong, but isn't the answer something to do with ignorant self satisfaction?

if the creator of a trick, i.e. the magician, does not want to reveal his trick,no matter how obvious, why would you want to reveal it to everyone else?i knew a kid who would have been a potential magician, already knew hundreds of tricks and had a fast sleight of hand, and someone revealed his trick and he quit.heck, he was 2 years younger than me, and waaaaaaaaaaaay better, and he quit.

Also to Tomo:yeah, makes him seem better than Criss.

Perhaps people who expose secrets like this are the ones that send their bank details to those email scammers because they just can't keep anything to themselves.

How would you feel if someone exposed something about you online?

I can't fathem why these people sit for hours on end watching everything frame by frame, just because they can't work it out at real time speed?

For heavens sake - get a life!

Appreciate the trick for what it is

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

If he made a spider appear out of my hat (not that I wear a hat) first I'd have a heart attack, and then I would do some serious damage to Mister Mindfreak...

I don't know if that's actually what happened on the show, as described by the first poster, but that trick performed on anyone who didn't already know what was going to happen could be quite dangerous. Personally I'm mortally afraid of spiders, I've passed out because one crawled on me before. They make me feel sick, and faint, even fake ones. I can't even look at pictures. So I would NOT be a happy bunny at anyone performing magic on me that involved one of these said creatures!

But that's besides the point...I don't wanna know how he does his tricks. IMO they aren't the best out there anyway, so knowing how they are done as well would make me not want to watch at all :(

Dat, I guess its my own quote, didn't really think of it as a quote just though that sometimes we get absorbed in the technical things behind the tricks we see and should "appreciate the trick for what it is". It just came out but glad you like it.
