ya, pretty good first video. I think it woul be better though if you could pick up the coin first and show underneath it to show that there is nothing suspicious, then place it back on and have "you" press down on it. Constructive Criticism. :D

true about picking up coin first- that would be another effect all together.
the coin should have gone through faster.

you could start by having 2 coins on the rubber... and the spectator has the choice of coin to push through/take away! :wink: this is the method i learnt

I think it *should* have been checked out. That would have made the trick better for me. Has the potential to be a good effect I think.

ok- how is person able to pick up coin if it is a gimmick and can not be picked up? using 2 coins? how is that done?

If you are considering this trick then you should probably just get it. It is really cheap and as you can see, a pretty good visual effect.

I don't use it much because of the setup (only a few seconds though).

I think people should stop worrying about if things are examinable. It is rarely an issue if you present it right. In this case an inspection my be more common (due to the 'odd' rubber sheet prop), but they are completely examinable anyway! What you see is what you use.
