off out in a bit to brave the locals again though

no one here but us chickens.

It's just been one of those really lazy days for me. Didn't get dressed until a while ago. Lounged around watching TV, did some posting etc. and played a few games. I want to go out and get some stuff, but quite frankly it's just tooooo hot for me. I might wait until the evening and the coolness that it will bring.

Just got in from the footy. Oh well... There's always next time.

Did England loose then? I don't watch football.... I just got out of bed after an afternoon nap.

Yeah, we lost on penalties after half an hour of extra time. The Portugese were diving like stunned mullets all through the game. Rooney managed to stand on a bloke's foot as he tried to gain purchase for a sprint and the "victim" collapsed screaming and holding his wedding tackle! Rooney got sent off. Cheating b*stards, likesay. I can't wait for them to lose against Brazil. Hang on, I mean I can't wait for them to lose against the winners of tonight's Brazil v France match, don't I.

I jumped into a a taxi and zoomed home right after the match, but the town was already filling with lager sacks with murder in their eyes, and circling paddy waggons eyeing their prey... There's going to be trouble. I'm glad I live out of the way, about a mile from Rooney in fact!
