Hi there, i just got the time machine and have had a few practices with it . Im not very good at patter and it can end up with an awkward silence depending on the time u need to take *you know what i mean if uve got this trick*. Could anyone give me any themes or ideas to play about with that i could develop into a routine?

When the time has been picked and...

"hmm, why did you choose that time?....Did you think of that for any reason?"

or "hmm.that was your free choice yes and you could have selected any time"

I'm not familiar with Time Machine so don't know the suggested routines but have had a similar watch (CW perfect time) for a few years. I 'transmit' the hour hand first and get them to visualise this and tell me what hour they see before I 'transmit' the minute hand... Difficult to be more detailed without revealing too much but might be enough there to give you a clue, PM me if you want to know more.

I've been playing with my Time Machine for a few weeks now and I'm getting top reactions everytime, what a wonderful little bit of magic kit it is...

Patterwise...

First I ask the speccy to think of an hour. As I'm setting the watch I ask them a couple of questions (ie what's their name, what star sign are they, who is their hero and such like). This personalises the effect and adds to the logic, when I'm happy that I've garnered enough info to make my prediction convincing I ask them to hold out their hand and hold onto the watch by it's strap so the face is facing me... Then I ask them to tell me what hour they are thinking of. I then look a bit worried/embassased and ask if they are sure they want to pick that hour (this buys a bit of time and often gets a giggle). If I've got ages still to fill I start blathering about how clocks are set at certain hours in advertising (Banachek) but they obviously weren't influenced by that. Then I ask if the time was exactly the hour or if there were any minutes (this allows you to blather some more about how many minutes are in an hour). Then I reveal the prediction.

Hope it helps...
